Mission Statement

The Lackawaxen Township Fire Commission is committed to working in partnership with our four volunteer fire departments to continue to provide dependable and efficient fire protection to residents and businesses of Lackawaxen Township now and in the future.

Vision Statement

It is our vision that we will be able to enhance the overall level of fire and rescue protection to citizens, the safety of volunteers and the level of volunteerism in our township. We will address all issues related to; administration, utilization of assets, fund raising, training and equipment required to achieve these goals.

Underlying the above goals is the commitment, recruitment and retention of our volunteer fire fighters, helping to improve finances by reducing duplication between fire departments and the education of our community starting with our youth.
